Hear ye, hear ye! Our annual Madrigal Dinner will be held Saturday, February 24 from 6-8 p.m. at the Parish Hall of the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection (2008 Justin Lane, Austin 78757)!
The fun and family-friendly musical theater production includes an era-appropriate supper, lots of madrigal songs, and a clever play! In this year’s story, a royal houseguest more than overstays his welcome, and it is up to several resourceful ladies to dislodge him without an international incident!
Menu: Roasted Chicken and Spring Potatoes, Haricots Verts, Rustic Breads, and . . . highly impractical dessert treats! Guests may imbibe iced tea or lemonade.
You are welcome to dress in Elizabethan attire if you wish, or just come Austin casual. Seating with fanfares and heraldic presentation occurs 6-6:30p.m. during the pre-show concert. Play begins at 6:30 p.m., with dinner served during the event.
